Overview

This phase kicks off your web project with your project manager who oversees the scheduling of design and development of your your site.

Phases Include:

  1. Design
  2. Implementation 
  3. Feedback
  4. Content Entry

Basecamp

This tool will be used as the hub for all communication for the entirety of the project from strategy, project management, design, and implementation.

Kick Off Call

This call will officially start your web project. The call covers the entire process,  what to expect, and estimate review.

Timeline

After your estimate is signed we will schedule the build of additional layouts and custom designs. You can refer to this timeline on the calendar tab of your Basecamp project.

MonkID

Your MonkID will be your login credentials into the backend of your site. You will need to create Monk IDs for all site administrators.

Color Picker

The color picker on your site controls all link, page, text, and section color styles. For any custom designs, your site's color picker will need to be finalized before proceeding.

Design

If you have any custom design see the design common terms.

Implementation

This portion of the project spans the build of layouts and custom pieces that will be added to your CMS listed under the "templates" filter of the Pages. Check your basecamp calendar for dates of when the builds will be complete and ready for your feedback.

Feedback

During this portion of the project, your role will be to begin adding content to your site and collecting feedback on the build. It will be important for you to add content as you’re collecting feedback on the site because in some instances, it will not look or work correctly without content.

To-Dos

As you collect feedback, if you find any bugs you will be able to add them to a to-do list for us to schedule to fix. The to-do list is located inside your Basecamp project. Please add it to the Feedback To-Do list and assign each item to your project manager who will let you know if any require a change order as well as make any fixes and tweaks needed.

Setup Guide

This guide contains the rest of the info you’ll need to update design specific elements on the site. It will be important for you to add content as you’re collecting feedback on the site because in some instances, it will not look or work correctly without content.

Content Entry

During this portion of the project, your role will be to begin adding content to your site and collecting feedback on the build.
